Classic Demi-Glace & Steak with Potatoes, Peas and Carrots

We know you have been wanting more Classic Demi-Glace Recipes, and we have been excitedly working on them! Here is another one that is so #delicious !

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 large baking potato

  • 2- 4 oz steak fillets

  • 3 large carrots

  • ½ cup of peas (can be frozen or fresh)

  • 1 steamer basket

  • 1 pouch Le Sauce & Co. Classic Demi-Glace Gourmet Sauce


Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 415 F

  2. Heat up a cast iron skillet with butter to medium high heat

  3. Grab a pot and fill it with water and put it on medium high heat on the stove top

  4. Put both of your steak filets on the stove, 2 minutes on each side

  5. Defrost your peas and cut up your large carrots

  6. Then, put your steak in the oven for 6 minutes for medium rare, adding 1-2 minutes for medium

  7. Grab your baking potato and poke it with a fork a few times all the way around

  8. Put it in the microwave for 5 minutes, then turn over and add another five minutes

  9. Put your peas, along with your cut up carrots into the steamer basket in your pot and put the lid on. Cook for 5 minutes and then turn the heat off.

  10. While your veggies are steaming, cut up your potato to your liking, you will want to soak up every last drop of Demi Glace with this potato.

  11. Take your steak out of the oven and transfer it to a cutting board, letting it rest or 5 minutes

  12. While your steak is resting, heat up your classic demi-glace in the microwave for 30 seconds, adding 10 seconds if you want it hotter

  13. Plate and Enjoy!
