Roasted Poblano & Garlic Shrimp Tacos with Street Corn

Updated: Mar 21, 2023

Shrimp tacos are delicious. It’s easy to say and even easier to eat.

We want everyone to be able to make and enjoy delicious shrimp tacos any night of the week. These shrimp tacos also have a side of street corn that we added because it’s just so delicious.

These shrimp tacos are very easy to make and take minimal ingredients to grab from your local grocery store. We have guacamole as the base, as well as a roasted poblano slaw mix, with shrimp and cheese on top, and more Roasted Poblano & Garlic gourmet sauce drizzled on top. Like we said, absolutely delicious. For the tortillas, we used corn and toasted them on the stove top in a puddle of olive oil. We highly recommend that, but it’s not everyone’s preference.

Roasted Poblano & Garlic Shrimp Tacos with Street Corn

Serves 2

Ingredients

Shrimp Tacos

  • 8 oz Fresh or Frozen Shrimp

  • 1-2 Packages Le Sauce Roasted Poblano & Garlic

  • 1 Large Avocado

  • 1 small pack of Slaw

  • 2-4 oz of shredded cheese(How much you need depends of how much you love cheese)

  • 1 lime

  • 4 Corn Tortillas (Or more if you're more hungry)

Street Corn

  • 1 can of corn/1 bag of frozen corn/fresh corn

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • Dash of cayenne pepper

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 oz crumbled queso fresco

  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro

Directions

  1. Start by turning on your flat stove top pan to heat up your tortillas(or you can microwave them, but if you do, save that for last)

  2. Open your small bag of slaw and pour it into a bowl, then pour a little Roasted Poblano & Garlic Le Sauce and mix it up

  3. Grab your shredded cheese, or shred some from a block of cheese

  4. Open up your avocado and safely take out the pit, scoop out the avocado and mash it up in a bowl

  5. Get all of the Street Corn ingredients and mix them all up in a bowl and Voila! You have Street Corn.

  6. Take out a pan and turn on the stove, letting the pan get hot

  7. Once the pan is hot, you can put your shrimp in. They will cook in 2-3 minutes. Take them off the stovetop once they are fully pink all the way through.

  8. Grab the rest of your Roasted Poblano & Garlic gourmet sauce, and it's optional to heat it up or not. It’s delicious either way.

  9. Once you have everything set up, make a two person, or four person assembly line if you doubled the recipe and make your delicious street tacos. Drizzle on your Roasted Poblano & Garlic finishing sauce and you have a delicious meal you made in less than ten minutes.

We hope you get to try this recipe out and enjoy it as much as we do. If you get a chance to try it out, please let us know! We love hearing from you and hearing about how much you love Le Sauce. Feel free to comment on this blog post or email us at questions@lesaucecompany with a picture!
